Optical distribution frame is used for termination,interconne-located within a central office or hub, distribution frames act as the interface between the outside plant and active electronics.

Basic functions performed by modules within the frame are patching, splicing, cross-connection and/or storage. · Cabinet footprint is very small, allowing for optimized space utilization.
· Cabinet is front facing, allowing for back to back placement or placement against a wall.
· Modules are hinged to allow for easy access to connections without creating bend-induced losses.
· Cable entry can be made from the top or bottom of the cabinet.
· A separate compartment within the cabinet facilitates Cable management.
· Retention and fan-out accessories are used to secure cables entering the cabinet, and manage the routing of fibers to the appropriate modules.
· All cable management is accessible from the front.
· No special tools are required for installation.
